TAMPA, FL – This fall, Hit House Entertainment presents Tampa Bay’s own Rod Wave as he returns with the 2nd Annual Rod Wave Birthday Bash, a star-studded event with soon to be announced mystery guests, to Tampa’s AMALIE Arena on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7:00 p.m.
After the wildly successful and sold-out inaugural Birthday Bash concert, Rod Wave cannot wait to return to his hometown. Known for his heartfelt lyrics and soulful delivery, Wave is set to captivate audiences once again. With a career marked by raw authenticity and emotional resonance, Rod Wave continues to solidify his place as a rising star in the music industry.
American rapper, singer and songwriter, Rod Wave, rose to fame with the 2019 single "Heart on Ice," which went viral on YouTube and TikTok and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has since released five top ten projects on the Billboard 200 chart: including three consecutive chart toppers in Nostalgia (2023), Beautiful Mind (2022) and SoulFly (2021). With Nostalgia’s debut at No. 1, Rod joined Taylor Swift as the only two artists to top the Billboard 200 for the past three consecutive years.
After starting his career amassing a diehard regional fanbase, Rod Wave has become a streaming giant, accumulating over 20 billion streams to-date. He’s successfully completed two arena tours in the last two years, including the sold-out Nostalgia tour with Toosii and Ari Lennox.
With previous albums such as "Ghetto Gospel" and "Pray 4 Love" receiving critical acclaim, Rod Wave continues to evolve as an artist, pushing boundaries with his introspective storytelling and unique vocal style.
