Release - Arijit Singh Live in Concert Coming to AMALIE Arena on April 8

Arijit Singh, a trained classical Indian Playback Singer, is making his Tampa debut at AMALIE® Arena on April 8, 2017.

His family’s education background eventually led him to a music career. His was first seen on a TV Reality show called “Fame Gurukul”, but unfortunately lost the show in the final round.

Thereafter, he participated in another show “10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil” which was a musical face-off between the winners of Fame Gurukul and Indian Idol. He won the show and started his musical programming career. He has been an assistant music programmer to Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar and Mithoon. Music director Mithoon’s composition Phir Mohabbat from Murder 2 was his debut in Bollywood music. After that, he played hit songs like “Raabta” from Agent Vinod, “Duaa” from Shanghai and “Phir Le Aaya Dil” from Barfi.

He came into the limelight after the release of “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2. This song fetched him numerous awards and nominations. Songs like “Kabira” and “Illahi” from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani are also the biggest hits in the Bollywood. Apart from playback singing, Arijit Singh is famous for his live concerts.

Recently, he has created a new benchmark and made history with his concert tours. He has been awarded as the best live performer in Musical concerts in India as well as abroad.
